Carligate Peak

Culmea Cârligate

Situated in the north-west Padiş, the peak is of particular interest due to the wide open views that are opened both on Padis and on a large part of the Apuseni Mountains. The ridge consists of Carligate Peak (1694 m) and continues west Cornu Muntilor Peak (1.652m) and Braiesei Ridge and east with Cumpănăţelul Pass.

The ridge is a plateau, east-west oriented, very steep to south (Padis) and with gentle slopes to the north (Dragan Valley). Narrow paths cross the plateau, bypassing Draganului Valley towards Vladeasa and Stana de Vale.
